We are a church with no denominational ties. As an independent fellowship of believers, all of our decisions are made locally, with the Bible serving as our primary source of direction and instruction. We enjoy the freedom that comes from being simply “Christians,” and welcome others to join us in our pursuit of the Living God.
We want to be disciples and make disciples by teaching and preaching with both spiritual and intellectual depth. Our goal is to help one another attain a strong Bible knowledge and a sound understanding of God’s will. We equip everyone to defend his or her faith, but also work to develop a love and compassion that reflects that of our Master. We call everyone to a genuine life of worship 24/7.
We ask for nothing more or less than what is asked by the New Testament. Where the Bible speaks, we speak. Where God calls us to action, we call one another to act. And where the Scriptures are silent, we do not presume to fill in the gaps with our opinions.
Most would probably call us “contemporary” in regards to our corporate worship style (full band as opposed to pipe organ). However, music and style are no substitute for what should go on in the heart and mind of the believer. Prayer, disciplined study, obedience to God, fellowship, and encouragement combine to make worship a way of life. When we come together as a body for worship, it is the collective praise of hearts committed to God. For further questions feel free to contact our worship minister or stop out and visit us on Sunday morning.
